What is the Energy Ideas Generation Program?Energy Ideas Generation Program is a 16-week accelerator program for startups to assess, test and align their solutions with Baker Hughes for new business opportunities. Through this program startups will get the opportunity to work with Baker Hughes business teams and internal subject matter experts to fine tune their technology & solution to meet energy industry needs.

What are the program timelines?The program will start accepting applications from March 2024 and close in May 2024. The selection and onboarding of the cohort will take place from June 2024 to July 2024. Post this, the program execution will begin from August 2024.

What is the duration of the program?It is a 16-week program decided on a case to case basis. Depending on the maturity level of the startup’s technology and gap analysis, the duration of support for each startup will be customized.

How many startups are selected for the program?The program would select 4 to 6 startups for each batch. Startups should have a proven product or solution that caters to the themes of Baker Hughes.

It is a full time and in-person program?The program would have a hybrid mode. The startups can be located anywhere in India and Asia-Pacific region but should be available to attend important sessions physically in India on need basis.

What is the selection process?The selection process will take place in three stages. An initial screening will be done based on key parameters such as relevance to Baker Hughes themes, TRL, background of founders etc. Pitch session : Shortlisted startups would be contacted on their email for an online pitch session with the Baker Hughes team to review the technology and solution maturity. Selection bootcamp: Top finalists would be invited for an in-person bootcamp to deep dive into their solution and map potential collaboration with Baker Hughes leadership.

What are the selection parameters?Selection parameters would include maturity of the solution, technology readiness level, fitment to Baker Hughes themes, potential for co-creation, technology/ business compatibility and founders background.
